Lutz Foerster fine art

My work is predominantly abstract, where I seek an open, inwardly grounded state of mind, free as much as possible from preconceived ideas and goals. Layers of textures, colors, and shapes give rise to an inner landscape that evokes states of openness and inner emptiness, as one might experience in a meditation. My art will inevitably reflect my inner and outer journeys and encounters with special people. In this way, painting is part of the path I am walking.
